Vacancies in the Planning and Parks Commissions

We have vacancies in the Planning Commission and the Parks Commission and are looking for qualified citizens to fill these important positions. Here is an opportunity to support your city in a positive way.

The Planning Commission meets once a month on the 2nd Tuesday at 6pm. The Parks Commission meets once a month on the 1st Tuesday at 4:30pm. Ask for applications at City Hall.

Proposed Dog Park at Buffington Park

The Parks Commission has plans in the works to create a public dog park in Buffington Park near the skate park. If you are interested in being part of this project, please attend the Parks Commission meeting on the first Tuesday of each mont
