Port Orford Urban Renewal

The City of Port Orford recently obtained grant funds to investigate the feasibility of establishing an Urban Renewal District (URD) in Port Orford. This study is underway. Susanna Noordoff, hired for the study, is preparing the necessary data to determine whether an URD would make sense for Port Orford. Outreach to the community has already included four workshops, with another one on December13th, in addition to letters and personal visits to businesses along Highway 101....(more)....
